TED Ideas worth spreading! Aren’t you still part of it?

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

TEDx is an international community that organizes TED-style events anywhere and everywhere — celebrating locally-driven ideas and elevating them to a global stage.

This last weekend Blumenau hosted the TEDxBlumenauWomen, an independently organized event, one of the two licenses granted to Brazil, to hold the TEDWomen2017: Bridges , a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers, which took place in New Orleans a few days ago.

“Let’s take part of this global conversation about our shared future! The more you enter into it, the more you will take out!”

TEDx Blumenau: Ideas worth spreading

This Sunday, April 30, Blumenau has hosted the 10th TEDxBlumenau event. It’s the local edition of a global initiative that gathers people to inspire action.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

For the days to come…

Hello everyone! I pondered over what I would write to you at the beginning of our work.  Time goes by so fast and what I wrote to you last year still looks fresh to me! I still feel the same about it! So I now reaffirm my commitment to you…

“I’ll offer you everything I know! I’ll be right here with you: face to face! I’ll listen to you! I’ll understand you! I’ll have fun with you!

Here, you will scatter your hopes and dreams…

And I’ll care for them until they flourish…

And I truly hope you grow stronger in knowledge of yourself, of the other and of our amazing English speaking world!

Try not to focus only on the journey’s end, but instead, enjoy what you are becoming along the way!”

After having deeply pondered…

… over the pros and cons of ongoing approaches to a more meaningful  Educational System, I felt like this…

Now  I find myself in the cognitive process of accommodation…
